Owner & Founder of Sol Yoga + Pilates Studio

Vinyasa + Aerial Yoga + Yin + Pilates Reformer

Born and raised in Atlanta, Georgia, Belinda Fleming is not only the visionary behind SOL Yoga Studio but also an embodiment of its spirit. As an E-RYT 500 Yoga Alliance certified teacher, Belinda’s journey into yoga transcends the physical. Her diverse certifications include Vinyasa, Aerial Yoga, Yin, and specialties in Thai Yoga Massage and Bodywork. Belinda’s path to yoga began in 2008, marking the start of a love affair that would see her achieve her RYT-200 at OnlYoga under John Meredith in 2014, followed by her RYT-300 at Dorje Yoga with Jessie Fletcher. Her continuous pursuit of knowledge led her to the Esalen Institute in Big Sur, Northern California and was further enriched by her transformative experience studying under Deborah Langley in Rishikesh, India. Here, immersed in the sacred practices of Mudras, Mantras, Chakras, and chanting along the Ganges River at the base of the Himalayan mountains, Belinda deepened her connection to the ancient traditions and teachings of yoga.

“Yoga, to me, is like a dance—each movement in harmony with the rhythm of the breath, leading to an inner peace that transcends the flux of our daily lives. The eight-limb path of yoga remains timeless, guiding us towards living with grace and intention, and nurturing the unity of mind, body, and spirit. This ancient wisdom, as relevant now as it was centuries ago in India, illuminates our journey towards serenity and balance.” - Belinda Fleming

Before her yoga journey, Belinda’s athleticism and commitment to wellness were evident through her accomplishments as a marathon runner, having completed marathons in New York, Chicago, Boston, and the scenic Big Sur in Northern California. Her dedication also extended to philanthropy, raising significant funds for cancer research at Sloan-Kettering Memorial Hospital. Belinda’s vibrant spirit was also showcased during her time as an Atlanta Falcons Cheerleader, and she remains an active member of the NFL Cheerleaders Alumni Association.

Beyond her professional achievements, Belinda’s heart is anchored in family. A devoted mom of two sons and three daughters, she also cherishes the expansion of her family, which now includes a wonderful daughter-in-law. Her family means the world to her, underscoring every aspect of her life with love, resilience, and dedication.

Belinda’s extensive experience as a Registered Nurse, specializing in critical care, further exemplifies her lifelong commitment to nurturing and caring for others. This foundation of compassion and service enriches her yoga teaching, allowing her to foster a space of vulnerability, openness, and heart-centered practice at SOL Yoga Studio.

Whether leading international yoga retreats, sharing the transformative power of yoga across the United States, or guiding a class in her beloved studio, Belinda invites you to join her in a journey of self-discovery, healing, and profound joy. Discover the strength and serenity within, under the guidance of a teacher who lives her practice, both on and off the mat.

Alicia Bellingham

Vinyasa Yin Meditation

Alicia grew up a singer and dancer and always knew she would pursue a career in musical theatre. She was blessed with several professional contracts and graduated from BYU’s Music Dance Theatre program and planned to move to NYC thereafter.

On her first contract after graduation, she suffered a debilitating low back injury that took years of rehabilitation. Knowing she could not dance again in the capacity she planned, she reinvented herself and found a career in event marketing and production working for companies such as Facebook and LinkedIn.

Her time in corporate America brought severe burnout, and when she moved to Atlanta, she was experiencing severe chronic illness. It was then that Alicia began to deepen her use of somatic practices and yoga. As a dancer, Alicia used yoga as a means for grounding her body since she was a teenager, but her use of yoga was evolving into something deeper. She was finding that her time on the mat was the time she felt most connected to her true self, and the benefits on her nervous system and body were lasting.

After years of self realization, Alicia accepted the call to become a yoga teacher and loves helping her students connect their mind, body, and spirit through this sacred practice. She has particular interests in the chakra and energy systems and enjoys incorporating this into her classes. When not at the studio, Alicia loves spending time outdoors and with her sweet daughter.

Bill Herderich

Yin + Yoga Nidra + Pilates Reformer

Hi. My name is Bill. I’m a 60+ male, overweight, overworked, stressed out, anxious, depressed, prediabetic, and a CPAP user. Yeah, it sounds like bad Tinder profile.

I started my Yoga journey in 2019 because I read that Yoga can help with depression. Six years and 1,100 classes later have convinced me the answer is yes. Every class I take, no matter how bad I feel at the beginning, I always feel so much better after.

One of the reasons I became a Yoga Teacher in 2022, was to encourage others to try Yoga. In particular, for folks like me who aren’t in the best physical shape, because you don’t need to be a dancer, cheerleader or athlete to obtain the benefits of Yoga.

Yoga can also be more than just doing poses on the mat. There is a social aspect with the folks that come to the studio. I’ve fostered many new relationships both on and off the mat. Many of us have gone to SOL Yoga retreats to locations like Mt. Kilimanjaro, Zion National Park, Tuscany Italy, and Blue Ridge Georgia. I even got to use my love of cooking as the chef for some of our local Yoga retreats.

Yoga for me also includes deeper aspects of Yogic philosophy and lifestyle. I like to learn about the history of Yoga, how it first began in the Indus Valley region of what is now mostly Pakistan. It amazes me how advanced philosophy was back then. This dates back to before 1,000 BCE, when the Sanskrit Language was first written down.

The highlight of my Yoga interest was a one month-long pilgrimage in 2025 to an Ashram in Yogaville, Virginia. The program is called Living Yoga Training. I was there with nine others for the whole month of July. Every day we had a schedule of activities where we practiced the six branches of Integral Yoga; Hatha, Raja, Karma, Jnana, Japa, and Bhakti. You can find out more here: https://www.yogaville.org/programs/residential-programs/living-yoga-training/

I encourage folks to at least give Yoga a try. We have a saying “Yoga meets you where you are” That means that no matter your level of fitness or depth of interest, you can find something that resonates with you.

Daisha Jackson

Vinyasa+Buti+Prenatal+Yin+Aerial + Pilates Reformer

Daisha (Yoga Dai) has been a student of yoga for over a decade. Her introduction to the practice began in Baltimore, MD as a karma yogi for Charm City Yoga (now Yoga Works). It was there she discovered the rich philosophy of yoga and her love for heated Vinyasa flows.

Keeping with the wanderlust from growing up in a military family, she moved to Georgia in the summer of 2015, continued her practice and found herself in her first Buti class. This style of yoga allowed for freedom of self-expression and exploration she had never experienced before.

After completing her 200 HR YTT in March of 2021 with Horizon Healing Center, she took a leap of faith to pursue and complete her Buti certification the following month. Her styles range from creatively powerful Vinyasa sequences, the primal spiral movements from Buti and Yin-like postures to bring everything together. She’s a newly trained holistic prenatal instructor with Cherished Life Wellness and is currently pursuing her aerial certification.

Daisha lives in her intention to always show up to her mat as her authentic self and be a physical reminder of one’s own true power and divinity. She aims to create a unique experience in every class offered and share all the benefits yoga has to offer.

A supportive yoga and pilates community, for every stage of practice.

As a devoted wife and mother of two wonderful boys, Jill has found yoga to be a continual source of centering and grounding throughout her life.

Feeling the pull to dive deeper into the practice beyond the asanas, she completed her 200-hour teacher training at Sol Yoga and a 50-hour Yin teacher training under Bernie Clark and Diana Batts.

Jill brings a deep love for sharing yoga with others and creating a welcoming, supportive space for students to deepen their practice and connect more fully with themselves. Having personally experienced yoga as a truly transformative path, she weaves mindfulness, compassion, and heart-centered intention into every class, believing that each time you step onto your mat, you cultivate inner peace and loving-kindness that ripple outward into daily life.

Guided by the wisdom of Bernie Clark, Jill reminds her students that “we use the pose to get into the body, not the body to get into the pose.” Through a blend of breath, movement, stillness, and sound, her classes invite students to build strength through softness and to nurture presence and balance, both on and off the mat.
