Do I need experience to take Pilates Reformer?
No experience is required. SOL + Reformer Foundations is designed specifically for beginners and those seeking a slower, more mindful introduction. Instructors offer guidance and support throughout class.
How is Pilates Reformer different from yoga?
Pilates Reformer focuses on strength, stability, alignment, and controlled movement using spring-based resistance. While yoga emphasizes flow and mobility, reformer training provides targeted, functional strength in a precise, supportive format.
Are Pilates Reformer classes included with yoga passes?
No. Pilates Reformer classes are offered as a separate modality and are not included with yoga class passes. Reformer-specific class packages and pricing are available.
What should I wear to class?
Wear comfortable, form-fitting clothing that allows you to move freely. Grip socks are recommended for safety and stability on the reformer.
When should I arrive?
Please arrive 10–15 minutes early to settle in and prepare. Due to the small-group format, late arrivals may not be accommodated once class has begun.
Is the class suitable for all bodies?
Yes. Classes are guided with attention to alignment and individual needs, and modifications are offered as appropriate. If you have an injury or special considerations, please inform your instructor before class.
How many students are in each class?
Pilates Reformer classes are intentionally kept small to allow for focused instruction, personalized guidance, and a supportive environment.
Do I need to pre-register?
Yes. Pre-registration is required for all Pilates Reformer classes due to limited equipment availability.
